Another busy weekend at Hanford
Weekends at Hanford are always busy and this weekend was no exception. From tree climbing with Mr J, trying their hand at walking on a slack rope a couple of feet off the ground with Mr and Mrs Curry, to running around frantically at ‘Escape from Hanford’ on Saturday night, the girls were certainly happily occupied. Swimming sessions in the outdoor pool and a delicious BBQ were also extremely popular. Perhaps a highlight were the gymkhana games with the ponies and the highly entertaining apple bobbing followed by flour bobbing for sweets.
There was also time for quiet reflection on Queen Elizabeth II’s long life of dedicated service at a special commemorative service on Saturday, to which all parents were invited.
