Glass Blowing with Emsie Sharp

Nov 22

The Vth form went to visit Emsie Sharp in her studio at Gold Hill Organic Farm in Child Okeford to make their own Christmas Decorations. This is fast becoming a firm favourite seasonal activity at Hanford the results are truly stunning. Emsie told the girls about the story of glass, how it is made, where it came from and the importance of Venice where Emsie worked in the past. She then gave a demonstration before helping the girls to make their own customised Christmas glass bauble.
