Netball vs Chafyn Grove
Wednesday 23rd January
Unfortunately the Bryanston U13 and U11 Netball tournaments were cancelled due to the heavy frost but we were very fortunate to be able to make contact with Chafyn Grove who were also looking to find replacement matches and were happy to host both Hanford and Farleigh later in the day.
U13 team were on excellent form and played a superb game against Farleigh with some consistent shooting and movement in the attacking circle and some solid defending. Hanford kept a goal ahead throughout the first three quarters and then edged ahead in the last to win 10-7.
In their next match against Chafyn, Hanford found it difficult to find their rhthym initially and after the first half led 2-1. A better second half enabled them to pull away from Chafyn to eventually win the game 8-6
