U9A and B Hockey v Sandroyd
All of the 3rd form set off to go to Bryanston for another hockey match this time playing against Sandroyd. It was threatening to rain at one point but fortunately it did hold off. Both teams played 12 minutes each way with a short break for half time. The matches were played with great determination and the ball travelled very quickly up and down the pitch. All of the teams had their defending and attacking skill tested and the improvement was noticeable. The final whistle seemed to come too early as everyone was having fun and enjoying the game but at the whistle Sandrord scored more goals in the A game and Hanford scored more goals in the B game. A huge thank you to Bryanston for allowing us to use their all weather pitch and a huge thank you to the kitchen staff for our super Halloween fairy cakes and satsuma pumpkins.
