UVIth Leavers 2019
Our UVIth Leavers enjoyed their last few precious weeks at Hanford with a fun packed programme of activities. The celebration kicked off with a glass of fizz (apple juice) on the day of their last CE exam followed by a BBQ at Mr and Mrs J’s house with their parents.
The following week they headed off to Studland for the traditional Hanford Leavers’ camping trip. They didn’t let the rain get them down and they made the most of their last few days together playing on the beach, sliding down high wires and slipping over obstacles at the Dorset Water Park. They cooked their own food and one evening they BBQ’d the trout they had caught while learning to fly fish with Mr J.
They were kept very busy for their final weeks at Hanford with a trip to Matilda the Musical, a boat building challenge, making and serving afternoon tea for the staff, a Standing Tall workshop and watching an outdoor performance of a Midsumer Night’s Dream’at Bryanston. On the final weekend they had sundowners on Hod Hill and a Roman feast cooked by Mr J, followed by a few ingenious Leavers’ dares.
