V and LVIth talk by Griselda Heppel

Oct 20

Old Hanfordian author Griselda Heppel gave a talk to the Fifth and Lower Sixth girls. Her most recent book The Fall of a Sparrow was inspired by her time at Hanford. She incorporates elements of the school and details of the surrounding Dorset countryside into her children’s novel. The girls thoroughly enjoyed her talk in which they learnt a lot about how to write stories and the profession of being a writer. They were also excited to read about Hanford in this thrilling mystery book.
